Just in case anybody didn't know one MemphisMOJO took 3rd in the Seniors NLHE event at the 45th WSOP. 280K for 3 days work. Weaved his way through almost 4,500 entrants. Wow is all I can say at the moment.

Go Bruins. As i've said before...we are lucky to have such great sports teams in Boston. The Bruins always make spring fun...the RedSox are really happy about that...you know what I mean?

Patriots will be back in the AFC Championship next year

Their crazy off season and current injury riddled season caught up to them in a big way this week. Now we have Denver vs. Seattle. Good luck to both...at least it will be a good SoupBowl. I'm looking forward to laying a few prop bets and hitting on the SB squares I purchase. I guess the nickname of the SB will be the 'Pot Bowl' or the 'Stupor Bowl' or something like that.

What a birthday present!!! World Series Champs!!!

What can I say...it's been quite a year. The RedSox have bucked the odds and went worst to first. They won the World Series on my birthday as well.....there is nothing left to say.

I guess this is the fourth time the RedSox have gone against the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series. What a year...what a comeback...what a story. There is nothing left to say but.......

Grace Potter & The Nocturnals-The Allman Brothers Band Sept. 6th Comcast Center

One hell of a show. Grace Potter is fantastic. The Allman Brothers were fantastic (G. Allman didn't fare so well and kept leaving the stage during the show...but he's getting old) but they didn't play their usual encore. It was strange having the montage of photographs in the background without the band playing as usual. As I said Greg Allman left the stage a bunch of times during the show and he looked...well...awful. He sung only two songs and stood and played the guitar for 'Melissa'...but his legs looked like denim covered bones. Something strange was going on. Nevertheless....Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks stole the show. They jammed quite a bit with Grace Potter and the Nocturnals so I was a bit stunned at the end...but still very happy overall. Black Crowes at BoA Pavilion

Great show. I haven't seen them in years. I decided last minute to get tickets....except I bought tickets for the wrong night...Aug. 6th which is also a Tuesday. My buddy and I went to the box office and picked up a couple of tickets...way better for the July 30th show. 30 rows better. It was surreal to be told that the tickets I had originally bought were for next Tuesday. I'm glad it went down that way though. I took a bunch of photos with my crappy iPhone 3GS which has most definitely reached the end of its usefulness. Enjoy if you can make out the grainy pictures.

Went to Rockingham Park Saturday

Won a couple of 40.00 SitNGo's. I lost in the 4:30 NLHE 70.00 tourney with AK. Of course the guy that knocked me out had AQo...what else is new. I got knocked out of the 80.00 Turbo that they put on at 9:00 PM...I love that tourney. I decided to leave (after going to the bathroom) when a guy was clearing out his 'air hole' in his neck and was cleaning out his air tube that went into the neck hole..at the sink in the bathroom. When are they going to put a casino in Massachusetts? The idiots that run this state are so caught up in their own red tape and corruption.
