RedSox stagNation

I don't get it. It was never fully explained to me why the RedSox are not using Bard as their closer. He was the heir apparent after Papelbon left the Sox no? It was either explained and I didn't care because the Bruins were/are in the playoffs......or it left the building with Theo and Tito. Well the Bailey experiment is off to a disastrous start and the Sox are off to a disastrous start. BARD is still penciled in as a starter? Somebody please make sense of this because I cannot....

The One-Eyed Albino Shark

It's getting ugly up here in Boston. The circus that surrounds the RedSox and their record setting collapse is getting out of control. Let's hope in RedSox nation that this season is the One-Eyed Albino Shark of seasons for the RedSox.....that is...one in a million. It could represent the we here at PokerandMiscStuff Inc. will call it the RedSyclox season from now on.

Back in the fray

I'm back at Full Tilt. It looks like I'll have problems if I was to say make a big score though. I did the same thing that some others have done and cancelled the FTP account. I then joined again (2 months later) as a different account. If all goes as it did last weekend (avoiding bad beat stories and staying positive) I won't have to worry about making big tourney scores. I've been having more success in the tournaments on other sites recently so the BBT3 will be most of the tourneys on FTP. I am a low limit donk for all kinds of MTT's so I will definitely be playing token tourneys and low buyins as usual other than the blogger tourneys. I'm going to try going to Foxwoods a couple of times before my next bundle of joy is born in late May. It hurt not going to the World Poker Finals and taking a shot but I just couldn't take the time or waste the cash. In good 'ol RedSox fashion "There's always next year!" BTW....how ironic that the Patriots go 19-0 and set all the records only to burn out at the end...and just before the RedSox limp into the playoffs and make another historic comeback only to storm to another World Series trophy. I said it last fall and I'll say it again...I will not question Terry Francona any more. He is and will always be the perfect man for the job.

Well not for me........I was playing in the WBCOOP on Sunday. I went out in 123ND place. I went out in said place with pocket A's. Some dude went all in with A-Qo (had me covered by plenty) and everybody folded to me. I announced that "I have pocket A's.....and I know they aren't going to hold up". The guy flops a Broadway straight with an oh-so-obvious flop of Kx-Jx-10x. That one hurt much more than the 5 times I got knocked out of tournament with K's again. Every time I had the other guy completely behind.
So anyway, I did cash.....in one of those 360X5.50 on PokerStars...I came in second for 288.00. I love those 180X4.40 tourneys also. I had a nice run last year of places of 2-1-2 over 2 weeks for some huge ROI's. So I came in second Sunday morning because....I passed out. I couldn't keep my eyes open after being up for nearly 24 hours. Add in a ton of beers and lack of sleep and I woke up in 2ND place. I've never done that before....ever. I lost out on a 450.00 first prize because I was more exhausted than ever. Everybody needs to gear up, load up, and strap 'em on for this announcement. I am all over it.
Red Sox Saturday into Sunday morning......not good. Curt Schilling is one of the top rated pitchers in post season history....let's hope this is his one bad outing for the post season. Eric fucking Gagne....enough said. 'Americas Team' was busy destroying the Cowboys on Sunday. That was just insane....you could hear the commentators just deflate after realizing all hope is futile. They wanted ssssoooooooo bad for the Cowboys to upset 'Americas Team'. C'mon people it ain't gonna happen! This year Brady actually has a receiver core. The only thing stopping the team from whoopin' up on the Bears last year was the Flu. Yeah, that's right....the Colts won the AFC championship because half of the fucking defense had the flu. That game on Oct. 20Th or whatever is going to be the end of Colts.

Why must they do this every fucking year? C'mon just win the division for once.....Damn you Roger Clemens. The only curse this team suffers from is can'tgetridof1978ITIS.

I actually started to play a little poker again...at Absolute Poker that is. The Sit'n'Go's seem to be pretty soft. I finished 4th out of 472 in a two dollar donkfest. Not too bad for this low limit donkey. I'm not sure how much I can actually play....I have verizon FIOS in my house now and I can't play poker like I WANT to....I have to grind out the low limit stuff. It just seems like such a waste of time to play for 4 hours and get 4th place for 50 bucks. I may just have to jump on in to the FantasySportsLive thing.....I loves me some fantasy sports....why didn't anybody think of this shit last year. Last year I had some cash to blow on gambling......
