The great flood of 2006

This is bad....The Merrimack River is to approach the levels of flooding that it reached in 1938!
My Grandfather used to tell me stories of the hurricane that came through the Northeast and basically devastated the region. It's a good thing I live on top of a huge hill even though it is near the river....

I hope you have 1.) a boat and 2.) Plenty of drnking water.

As a survivor of the Flood of '93, that is my best advice.

Nothing like a little hundred year flood showing up 32 years early.

Chill-dog..long time no hear....
I have a house on top of a very large hill (thanks to my late grandfather...he of the '38 hurrincane..I do believe that he chose this spot of land due to that) and one of the only straight shots to the highway from my city..it's unbelievable..12-15" of rain in 6-7 days. The weird thing is that it only covers an area about 150 by 200 square miles..the meteriologists are also predicting a bad hurrican season for the Northeast...
