We had our first open house of the year today. The weather was rainy and cool, so I am guessing the turnout was small.
We just had our painter repaint out any of the character the inside had. Everything is now nice, boring, and off-white.
Our house is a passive solar home, which may scare some people off. Our main problems, however, have been the downturn in the market, and the glut of new homes in our area.
You would think that people would be looking for solar homes etc. I was more a victim of first home buyer-real estate agent more than anything else. If I let this guy walk then my home has to immediately go back on the market for much less. Hence the fifth closing day coming fast.
