Sunday hangover...M.A.T.H. tonight

I should have taken the day off from Poker tournaments yesterday....including the 'Big Game'. I had a few beers and started to get antsy around the poker machine. I bought directly in to the 'Big Game' and promptly played like shit. My leaks are as follows....I play bad hands when card dead in bad position....and I raise semi-decent hands that I have no business raising. Seems simple to stop both leaks...but they are like Bud Lights in my refrigerator. That is to say....constantly there and constantly replenished. I'm not even making sense today....I will however give a shot to M.A.T.H. tonight. After all that 'is' how I earned my TOC seat earlier this month. Time to smarten up and play better....I should have had that mindset last night.
I was playing a big stack in the 25K guar. on PokerStars on Friday night but donked out around 90th place. There was one guy that re-raised All in every time I raised his Blind. What range do you start to put a guy like that on after he does it for a 3rd time in an hour? My goal before my daughter is born at the end of May is to win a 15.00+ buy-in tournament. I need some help with this type of play after the money bubble is burst.
I can't believe my daughter is going to turn 3 next week....time flies...seems like yesterday...
She was born on 05-05-05....pocket 5's should be my favorite hand. I have won a small tourney with the 'presto'. A set of fives is my favorite hand when I get a chance to flop it. Random thoughts on a Monday....makes sense to nobody but me.....

Coming soon to a media player on your PC :

Great game last night. Did we beat up on each other all night or what? I think that we were at the same table from about 30 mins in until the tourney ended.

That was a great game. I'm glad you were on my left. I was running on fumes the whole night. I fell asleep right before the final table. The only reason I didn't take a chop earlier was because I had the chat box closed. I opened it up to offer and you already did so. I don't have any problems with the chop...but I'm sure I will suffer the wrath of bloggerdom today. GG

Smokkee it is pretty obvious about the colors coding...but mostly how that player has played against me in the past. I haven't played against Loretta8 much but I'm sure he will be red coded soon enough.

FWIW, I don't think that it was a bad deal for either of us. I think the chip count was something like 110k to 50k when we agreed to chop. I can see the point of some people saying that you should have gotten more for the seat, but the added equity to the toc would only be $8/player (see below). You were guaranteeing yourself an additional $85 vs. $8 of added equity in the TOC.

$24,000/55 spots = $436/toc seat
$24,000/54 spots = $444/toc seat
Increased equity = $8

You could have tried to deny him a seat.

Why is that everyone wants it to be a full field?

If I was someone like Lucko (or anyone else who already has a seat) I would be trying to win every single seat I could...

I hope it doesn't come back to haunt you and he takes you out of the TOC or something tarded like dat.

I'd charge an arm AND a leg if someone wanted to buy my second seat... one can dream...
