Ok. i think I understand why you are a losing playing. I do not see you behind to a boat on the turn. If I read his hand at the end he had AK. You flopped the nut straight. He turned trips. He RIVERED a boat which made you a straight flush. Turn you were still ahead. Reading is fundamental.
I was going to point out your error also -- but with a significantly lesser degree of douchebaggery.
